THE VESSEL OF THEMES

When you come to Cottonwood Gathering you have the opportunity to contribute theme ideas to the Vessel of Themes.

Write the thought onto a slip of paper, fold it in half, and drop it into the glittering Vessel.

At the end of each Gathering, someone reaches in to the vessel and pulls one of the ideas out and reads it aloud, and this then becomes the theme for the following week.

Here's what gently arose its power last Sunday:

 

“GOING FOR IT!”

So often the REASON we come to an experience, the PURPOSE that drove us there, has to be put on the back burner to wait for the time to be right, the conditions to be optimum, or the fear of failure to go away.  Isn't it true that there are passions buried under piles of "reasons" or fears of judgement, self-judgements, pleasing others... That wonderful fun vision has been waiting and now forgotten but for a nagging sensation in the depths of the heart...  i don't even remember what it was anymore, a faded dream... Well, the time may be now, to bring it back up and smile into its face, breathe life into its embers, and GIVE THE GIFT!!
